The Eureka Union School district recently developed a dynamic vision for the future of our district and community. The visioning process has helped us to refocus on the importance of preparing our students to be college and career ready for success in the 21st century. This means that in addition to teaching content standards, we also need to help our students to become lifelong learners who are skilled at collaboration, communication, and critical thinking.

There is a focus on literacy activities, early math concepts, and social and language skill development.

A continuum of simple through more complex material that children can do at their own rates, the opportunity for children to typically stay with the same teacher for two or three years, the opportunity for children to work at developmental levels above or below their abilities, and much more.
