Our Vision

The Eureka Union School District is dedicated to developing learned and inspired global citizens.  We will provide our students with a dynamic, rigorous education that focuses on collaboration, critical thinking, and character development. Our students will be supported in a nurturing environment which fosters the healthy academic, social, emotional, and physical development of each individual. Our partnership of students, families, educators and community members encourages creativity and celebrates innovation.

Curriculum Teams
In order to continue to improve our programs, our teachers work in teams throughout the district.  Teachers representatives from each site participate as members of curriculum teams focused on Mathematics, Science, Technology, Enrichment, and English/Language Arts and Social Studies.  Each team sets short- and long-term goals for the content area, determines district level assessments, and plans for professional development. Each team is also responsible for developing and updating a three-year plan, which is aligned to the district vision and goals.  To view the three-year plans, please click on the links below:

In addition to the district-level teams, teachers work in grade level and curriculum teams at each site. Staff development days, summer institutes, and collaboration days provide time for us to work in groups on tasks that help us to develop effective Professional Learning Communities .  As educators we value time to model life long learning as we expand our knowledge about research-based instructional strategies and strive to maintain a collaborative culture with a focus on learning for all students.
