As the H1N1 flu is widespread in Placer County we want to keep our families as healthy as possible. Our absence lists are big, indicating that the flu has hit a number of our students. To help prevent the spread of the flu, don't send a child to school or other community activity if they are likely ill. Presence of a fever over 100.0 is a major symptom of H1N1 flu. Do you have a thermometer in the house to be able to check for a fever? If not, put a thermometer on that shopping list right now!! Let's all pitch in to help keep our community healthy. The Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is a plan of actions to raise the academic performance of all students to the level of performance goals established under the California Academic Performance Index. California Education Code sections 41507, 41572, and 64001 and the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) require each school to consolidate all school plans for programs funded through the School and Library Improvement Block Grant, the Pupil Retention Block Grant, the Consolidated Application, and NCLB Program Improvement into the Single Plan for Student Achievement.
