Monday, March 2nd
Author visit: Rita O'Bear shares her newly published children's book in the library.
Remember to fill in your BINGO reading and writing at home activity sheet. Students who complete 5 in a row bring back the signed sheet to the library for a prize any time this week.
During library time, students estimate how many fish crackers or red and white striped candies are in the jar. Each class winner receives a Dr. Seuss prize.
Tuesday, March 3rd
CRAZY SOCK DAY ! Students wear crazy socks to school to honor Dr. Seuss's creative imagination.
Classes will listen to a California Young Reader Award Nominee book in the library and get to vote for their favorite this week.

Share a favorite poem or rhyming book . Students and teachers may bring their favorite book to share and read aloud.
LIBRARY BOOK SWAP . Students can bring a gently used book to the library at lunch at our Leave One/Take One Book Swap.
